Interfaces thatearn their keep.

Design and engineering, one pair of hands. I take products from rough idea to shipped interface — fast, tactile, and built to hold up in production.

Brook holds the whole thing in one head — the taste, the system, and the code. We shipped faster and it looked better.

Designing in the seamwhere ideas become software.

Brook Teweldebirhan
Design Engineer

I turn rough product ideas into working interfaces. What started as tinkering with layouts became a career the day I realized the gap between a mockup and a product is where most quality is lost — and that I could close it myself.

I care about the parts users never name but always feel — how a transition lands, how a form recovers from a mistake, how fast a page becomes useful. Those details are the product.

I work best owning a surface end to end: the research, the interface, the animation, and the code that makes it real. Fewer handoffs, fewer things lost in translation.

Simple to start.Built to last.

Two ways to work with me. Embed me in your team for a stretch, or hand me a well-scoped project end to end.

1Talk

A short call to find the real problem and whether I can move it.

2Scope

One page: outcomes, timeline, and what done looks like.

3Ship

Working software in the first week, not a deck.

Embedded

I join your team and own a surface end to end. Ideal for products that need design and frontend moving as one.

  • Design and code, one person
  • Weekly shipped increments
  • Systems your team can extend
  • Direct collaboration, no layers

Project

A well-scoped build, delivered end to end. Ideal for a site, a design system, or a product surface with clear edges.

  • Fixed scope and timeline
  • Prototype before polish
  • Production-ready handover
  • Post-ship support window

What people sayafter we ship.

30+ products shipped
The rebuild paid for itself in a quarter. Signup completion went up and support tickets about the flow basically stopped.
PPlaceholder ClientHead of Product, SaaS
Working sessions instead of handoffs. Brook designs in the browser, so what we reviewed was what shipped.
PPlaceholder ClientEngineering Lead
Our design system finally stuck. Two years on, the tokens still hold and new features look like the old ones.
PPlaceholder ClientCTO, startup
Fast without feeling rushed. First working prototype in week one, and the polish never stopped after that.

Questions,answered.

A focused surface — a site, a flow, a system — usually lands in two to six weeks. I ship working software in the first week so we course-correct early, and I give you a real estimate after the first call.

Yes, and I prefer it. I extend what exists rather than rebrand for sport — most products need coherence more than they need reinvention.

Both, genuinely. I design in the browser as often as in Figma. The point is that nothing gets lost between the mockup and the merge.

Backend-heavy platform work and native mobile. I partner happily with people who are great at those.

A short call. If there is a fit, you get a one-page scope with outcomes and a timeline — not a deck.

Twenty minutes to find out whether I can move your problem. No deck, no pitch.
